Co-Founder & Property Operations
Alan brings decades of practical experience across engineering, public service and hospitality to Nest & Moor.
A trained mechanical engineer, Alan has served in the Royal Air Force, the police service and the ambulance service, developing a calm, dependable approach and a strong commitment to helping others.
Alongside his public service career, Alan has spent more than 30 years working as a chef and continues to lead the kitchen at one of the family’s cafés. His hospitality experience has shaped his attention to detail, customer care and commitment to consistently high standards.
His engineering background has given him a practical, solution-focused mindset. Whether maintaining café equipment or overseeing property maintenance, Alan has a natural ability to diagnose issues, find effective solutions and keep things running smoothly.
At Nest & Moor, Alan combines technical expertise, hospitality and operational experience to ensure every property is maintained with care and every client receives a dependable, professional service.

Martina brings together strategic leadership, project management and business experience, with a genuine passion for building businesses based on trust, quality and strong relationships.
As an experienced Project Management Consultant and business owner, she has worked across the NHS and voluntary sector, leading complex programmes, service improvements and organisational change. Her work has developed her strengths in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, governance and turning ideas into practical results.
Alongside her consultancy career, Martina has co-owned and managed hospitality businesses, giving her first-hand experience of running a business, caring for customers and creating welcoming environments where people feel valued.
At Nest & Moor, Martina brings together strategic thinking and a people-centred approach. She is passionate about providing landlords, businesses and professionals with clear communication, dependable support and solutions that work.
